The highly talented midfielder is under contract with the Brazilian giants until 2015 but wage demands could see him arrive in Europe earlier than expected
Brazilian side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639 and attacking midfielder Ganso, the club gleans with goals and technical prowess of all kinds.
Neymar is one of the most talented young players in the world and will eventually land in Europe a few years from now. However, the striker is not the only player who has stirred envious glances from the Old Continent.
Though he is less funky than Neymar, the elegant midfielder who goes by the name of Ganso is another coveted player. Ganso’s contract at the club expires in 2015 and has been touted for a great future ahead of him.
However, the youngster is no really keen on making the switch so soon. Recently, while talking to reporters in Brazil, Ganso admitted that he wants to stay at the club for a few more years before testing himself in Europe. Inevitably in such cases, rumours
of a contract extension start circulating.
Lancenet claims that Ganso now wants more money than he currently gets. The midfielder earns around 50,000 Euros per month and is now playing greedy. The player wants 390,000 euros a month which is way too much even by Santos’ standards.
The leadership has proposed the player 195,000 euros a month which is way away from what the Brazil international wants. Therefore, this dispute may speed up the player’s much anticipated arrival in Europe.
While talking to the media, Santos vice-president, Odilio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigues-c31508 said that discussions are continuing and as Ganso has a contract until 2015, the club is in no hurry to renew it. However, the VP claims that the club wants to improve the player’s contract
and Ganso wants to incorporate some advantages in terms of image rights.
“Discussions are continuing, he has a contract with Santos until 2015 and we are in no hurry to renew it. We’re just trying to make some adjustments to improve the player’s contract. Ganso wants to incorporate some advantages in terms of image rights in
particular. It is in the interest of both parties. We are discussing, there are no problems with the player. We must remain calm.”
As many presidents say in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, Chi va piano va sano, who goes quickly, dies too soon, who goes slowly is safe.
