Brazilian Paulo Henrique Ganso hints at a summer move to Milan clubs
Brazilian midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-Henrique-Ganso-c29449 has expressed desire to play in Italy after he finishes his term and perhaps wins the Copa Libertadores with the Brazilian club Santos.
The 21-year-old midfielder started his senior team career with Santos in 2008 after being part of their youth setup. Initially, Ganso was not part of the senior team on a regular basis but gradually, was able to win the confidence of his manager during training
and got selected in the final XI.
“My plan is to win the Copa Libertadores and then be transferred to a European team, perhaps an Italian one.” Ganso said. The Brazilian was all praise for Inter Milan boss Leonardo and seemed excited that the manager called him on a daily basis.
Ganso has already been rated highly in Brazilian football and some people in the Brazilian media consider him a successor to Kaka, which is in itself a huge achievement for the youth. He already has a Brazil cap under his belt against USA in a friendly encounter.
The midfielder was outstanding on his debut where he came very close to scoring his first international goal after one of his many shots rattled the crossbar.
The upcoming Brazilian sensation is already looking ahead to be part of some big clubs in the coming years and his thirst for silverware is proof enough of the youngster’s high hopes and ambitions. “I have the chance to be transferred to European football
and I am sure I will be a success,” Ganso said.
There have been reports that the 21-year-old has invited a lot of interest, especially from the Milan clubs; both Inter and AC. The midfielder is almost a certainty to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 and land in Italy come the start of the new Serie A 2011-12 season. “I am
sure that next season, I will be playing for one of the Milan teams,” Ganso said.
The youngster has made no secret of his desire to play for Inter Milan as he praises Leonardo and his team as one of the best in Europe. Ganso said anyone would be flattered just hearing their name linked to clubs as big as Inter Milan.
Ganso is still a young product at the international level and is learning the arts of the modern game, but has a promising future. One day, he might make his nation and the club proud.
