  1. Yes, it is painful BUT it is soooo worth it.  Two important things to know.

    1. Who does the wax is important.  Someone who really knows what they are doing tend to be less painful than those who don't know or care.  I would go to someone that was recommended.

    2. Make sure you have a good product to apply daily afterwards to prevent ingrown hairs.  This is crucial to your general happiness. Trust me.

    Also, you may want to get a bikini wax first.  It will give you an idea of what to expect but won't be as 'bad'.

  2. It hurt like mad and I screamed the whole time!  After all the torture, I had to pay them!!  Sheesh.

  3. Oh my, I recommend taking some ibuprofen a half hour before you go in.  It wont to much but it will help some pain.  I don't know how else to describe the first time except that it's excruciating pain, as if they are ripping your skin off your treasure!  But if they are good, they would lightly pat the area to ease the pain.  The pain subsides very quickly.  The top part of the brazilian is usually more painful than when they move further south.

    It is worth it in the end.  The more you go, the thinner the hair will be and the lighter it will come about and the pain wont be as bad anymore.

    Leave your embarassment at the door.  You'll have to take off your pants and undies and lay on a table just as if you were at the gyno.  They've seen it all before, it's there job.  You'll be nervous, but it will be OK.

    If you liked the job they've done, tip them well...afterall they did clean you up.

  4. brazilian = s**y

    wax = ouch

    you'll get both of them :P

  5. Do not get it done before your period, skin is sooo sensitive.

    Take a couple advil beforehand.

    Make sure the hair isn't too long, if it is - trim it.  Trust me on that one.  I'm an esthetician, and if the hair is too long it's a nightmare.

    Also, find a place that does a lot of Brazilians, you do not want someone waxing you who isn't comfortable doing it.

    Happy waxing!!

  6. alot of pain

  7. YOu might want to leave if the guy starts say "Nom nom nom nom". And just pull out one hair and then multiply it
