  1. =O We just learned this in World Studies! I was surprised, 'cause I knew they didn't speak Spanish because my Spanish teacher told us, but I thought it would be something like French, but it happened to be Portuguese! It was so random. Haha.

  2. Just like North americans or Americans speak English, is the idiom, I for example am brazilian but speak portuguese and honestly I HATE this fact, but rule is rule.

  3. OMFG!!!! ORLY?

  5. YES!!!  they speak  Portuguese. Remember their country was colonized by Portugal, while the majority of Latin American countries

were colonized by Spaniards. That's why we speak Spanish.

  6. Yes.

  7. Yes and it's known as Brazilian Portuguese. It's somewhat different from the one in Europe. The Treaty of Tordesillas divided the land in the New World between the Spanish and the Portuguese. It's because of the people who conquered the land. That's why Latin American has a lot of people who speak Spanish and/or Portuguese, excluding the indigenous languages.

  8. Yes, as a matter of fact I did.
