Bread. Which Moulds First & why??

I'm doing an experiment, but need to write my hypothesis, so i'm doing a bit of background research.

"The aim of this experiment is to discover the degree to which different breads promote the growth of fungi."

i have 5 breads,

rye, gluten free, white, wholemeal & multigrain

which do you think moulds first or last & why.

  1. white bread definately moulds first(especially if thers water on it) because it has fatty ingredients & alot of starch &yeast so if you put it somewhere dry & dark then i guarentee that the next day there will be mold on it

    =)


  2. The difference between an experiment and a guess is that an experiment will give you results you can rely on. I suggest you carry out the experiment, if you can.
