can any yeast bread recipe be made in a food processor?

  1. Sandy I would not use a food processor to mix a bread dough. A food processor cuts the

    dough at a high speed rather than mixes it.

    The cutting action makes the gluten strands so short they can't come back to their nessary length. I suggest that you mix your bread dough by hand or a stand mixer that way the gluten forms long strands by the streching action of the mixing. I hope this helps  jim b


  2. Sure. You can mix any bread dough in a food processer, just remove it to a bowl to rise and cover with a towel in a warm place.

  3. Not that I know of.  You make bread either by hand or in a bread maker.

  5. as long as all your ingredients fit in the bowl of the food processor I don't see why not. Be sure to do the buzz thing for mixing and watch it closely to see that you don't over process.
