Every time I eat bread (which I love) I get terrible flatulance. It is so bad that sometimes I avoid being in company just in case. Is there something that I can take and yet still eat bread (Im sick of taking charcoal tabs). I am happy to even cut it down to 2 to 3 slices a day. I have tried dried biscuits/crackers but the same happens. Help??

  1. you can still eat bread. go to a local health food store. they have bread made from rice, tapioca, or corn flour. i have celiac disease as well. i am also allergic to corn. try these web sites   www.celiac.com     www.glutenfreeforum.com     www.savorypalate.com    gluten free quick and easy  and special diet solutions healthy cooking without wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, yeast or refined sugar both by carol fenster phd   and the gluten free gourmet cooks fast and healthy by bette hagman. go to your local library and check out to see what they have. always try your local library first. then go to amazon.com   or alibris.com    you must also learn to read all food labels. did you know that all iodized salt has dextrose in it? dextrose is a wheat sugar. if salt has the word iodized on it it has sugar as an added ingredient. good luck.

  2. You may have a problem with gluten, try avoiding it. May be celiac disease.
