Break in the west of ireland over the easter weekend? will anything be open?

since i have a 4 day weekend that week, i want to visit maybe the westport area, and take a trip to the achill islands. But being the easter weekend, wil everything be closed?

everything will be open on the sat and sun but you wont be able to get alcohol on good friday, thats about it.

there wont be much open on good friday.the odd hotel .but they might not give you a pint.just tell them your granny was from westport that might work.

Westport great any time of year,most things should be open.
