Break up & best friend help!!!?

i need some opinions here, and if anyone could help, i would appreciate that a lot.

im 21 years old, and i had been dating my ex-bf for 2 years. two days ago, i told him i needed some time to think things over, and he told me that was the end of us. we broke up, and he left. simple as that! i tried calling him yesterday, but he didnt budge. he said i asked for this, and he wished me a good life. i deeply care for him, and i do love him, and i know he loves me too. why would he end things so quickly? should i call him, or leave things alone and move on? i dont know what to do anymore. im lost and confused.

now, things get a little complicated. my best friend, is telling me he loves me and wants to be with me in the near future. he's happy i broke up with my boyfriend, and he keeps telling me he knows and will do just about anything to make me happy. i never reply to him, i just stare and think. im confused. please help.

dont call your boyfriend, find out where he is one day and show up there to talk to him in person he cant hang up on you or anything. and dont tell him youve been trying to find him, just be like hey good to see you. blah blah blahh... and h**l realize he wants you back 2 yrs is long. and you bestfriend? whatever. if he cared that much and he knows you miss your bf he wouldnt be saying stuff like that he would want you to be happy with your bf again. it doesnt seem to me like he would do anythng to make you happy. obviously.

He broke up with you because every guy knows that when a girl uses "I need time to think things over" You wanna break up. That'sthe oldest break up line in the book. Anyways if you really do truly deeply love him you should try to work things out. Maybe you should just have a talk with him to see if he feels the same way.
