  1. haha I rememeber when I was practicing my baby freeze xD

Yeah, ur wrists r supposed to hurt lol

    but they're slowly getting stronger

In about a week or so, they wont hurt anymore.

I felt that wrist bands helped with the pain... mayb u shud try wearing one...

And take breaks now and then as in.. dont practice for like an hour straight... like take a break after 30min..

    -2 month bboy

P.S. if u have questions about breakdancing, go to bboy.org there r many bboys there who can help u. Beginner's and more advanced ppl go there for discussion, to learn, etc.

  2. Make sure you stretch your wrist and do wrist rolls before you do any freezes or headstands. If it hurts for more than a week you should get them checked out. Try wearing a heated wrist brace when you aren't practicing

  3. Your wrists probably hurt because you've been practicing a lot. You should stop practicing so hard for a while and see if your wrists still hurt. If they do, you should see a doctor and they will tell you if you can continue. You could take some painkillers if it's that bad.

I hope I helped.. good luck!

  4. your wrists are probably just hurting because of all the freezes and ground work. then WILL hurt, but that doesn't mean that you should stop just because it's kinda sore. if it hurts to where it's unbearable, and you just can't, then lay off. but this will occur and it will go away once the muscles in your wrist are used to the pressure and work.

  5. Your wrists are hurting cos you're putting too much pressure on them with the freezes & handstands etc. You've obviously got weak wrists, so try strengthening them up using light hand weights. Any opportunity you get, flex and unflex your wrists. I know it's gonna kill, but it's the best way to work the pain outta the muscles.

From now on, until your wrists have got stronger through using the weights,PLEASE tape up your wrists. Doesn't have to be anything crazy, just some sports strapping on both. Protects them from getting any worse. If you don't & you keep putting pressure on them, you're gonna damage them even more, and give yourself an even bigger problem in time.

  6. its always good to practice, but you don't want to over do it. it's just the muscles in your wrists are not used to this, but it will go away in time. whenever i practice my wrists hurt for a little too
