Breakdown Insurance less than 12 months?

Question

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to get car breakdown cover for less than 12 months? All i ever see on advertisements and online is quotes for 12 months cover but i am planning on leaving the UK for a bit after 6 months so that's all i require. Before i contact insurance companies can someone tell me if this is normal or an irregular request? Cheers!

Get it with your insurance!! Most of them offer it.

I think you may be able to get it at 10 months, but not sure about 6.

It would be best to ask the individual company eg. the AA

The only way you can get answer that means anything. Is to call insuarance companies. They can give you quartes. It does not matter were you are at. You may even find some that offer insurance companies police that will cover you in another countries.
