Breakfast Diner in Alberta Ave area, Edmonton?

Question

I just moved into the community and have seen a new grass roots cafe open as well as new dinner restaurants.....but I don't know of any place to have a home-style breakfast. I know of Smitty's at Kingsway mall, and things like that, but I would much prefer to support local businesses. Does anyone have any suggestions??

How about "Maria's" on 84 street south of 118 ave?People from as far away as Millwoods dine their although it's a humble,simple place.
