Breakfast at Tiffany's party ?

I am turning 14 and i love audrey hepburn, so i was thinking that having a breakfast at tiffanys party would be perfect. I am going to have about 50 people boys and girls Now i just need ideas on: what type of food to serve( i am doing a sort of "dinner at tiffany's" though), activities, decorations and places to buy this stuff (in westchester ny or on the internet)

Anything from the Betty Crocker 1950's era. Beef Wellington and green bean casserole maybe? If you do birthday cake get one with fondant icing.

Dinner, Dancing, recreate the party scene in the movie, watch the movie, have someone play guitar, have guests dress up for sure.

For decorations pink, black and white, and sparkly, Postcards or pictures of Audrey, Americana

Tip: make sure the guests know what a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme is.

~First off you need your colors black, white and Tiffany blue,

~You could get small gift boxes in tiffany blue and write on them with silver 'Tiffany & Co'.

~ Decorate with fake rhinestones and pearls, and making a "tent" from tiffany blue and white toulle draped from the ceiling.

~Hat boxes for decorations. You could put a stack of different sizes arranged on the buffet table. You could have the top one open and fake pearls hanging out of it, etc. or even large martini glasses with pearls and gems hanging over the edge.

~Packets of big fake rhinestones that you could scatter on the table.

~Two songs must be played : Moon River and breakfast at tiffany's by the deep blue something.

~For favors fill Martini glasses (dollar store) with tiers of alternating white and Tiffany blue M&M's. The aqua M&M's are perfect Tiffany blue color. Or even jelly beans.

~Have a big Tiffany blue box with costume bits in so guests can add to their own like; Fake eyelashes, tiaras, pearl necklaces, long black or lace gloves, Audrey sunglasses, long cigarette holders and  broches. Then get your guests to take snaps of each other and add them to a guest book.

Tell everyone to dress formal and serve sparkling apple cider. You can have simple chicken, just dress it up to look fancy. If you can afford a caterer they should have some ideas. Decorate with LOTS of white christmas lights or tube lights and and maybe a few movie posters. There are TONS of Audrey Hepburn stuff around. Look in Target or online.

Have you even seen the movie?!  It's a major snoozer.  And since you're not old enough to drink Drambuie, you may as well do a "My Fair Lady" theme.... Same actress, and at least you can serve English food and decorate in black and white!
