  1. they  might night take it..it depends...and if u break ur contract u gotta pay for it

  2. You keep the phone but you have to pay a fee for canceling your contract. It is usually $200 dollars and sometimes they will pro-rate it. Hope that helped. And good luck.

  3. well  you pay for the phone when you get a new contract so it's technically yours to do whatever you want. but they may charge you a fee for early termination.

  4. Well if you havent waited the two years then they might take the phone or make youpay the FULL price for it, but why would you need the phone anyway if your breaking the contract, ITS PROBABLY NOT GOING TO GO down well

  5. the phone is yours  with most contracts and you can do whatever you want with it after that

  6. You keep the phone, but get hit with a contract termination fee of between $150-$200. Why are you breaking the contract- better service elsewhere, want a new phone, switching to cheaper provider? Most of the time they will work with you on fixing why you want to terminate your contract. Be honest and explain why you want to cancel- they may just meet your terms and you can get what you want and not have to terminate!

  7. You keep the phone but they bill you an outrageous amount of money ($500 +) and if you do not pay that they have bill collectors CONSTANTLY call your house!!!

My mom broke a two year contract with AT&T over 5 years ago and we still have bill collectors calling our house!

Its best to tough it out until the contract is up (and i don't thinks its good for your credit breaking a contract either)

  8. No... they just send you a bill for whatever the penalty is in the contract.  Typically about $175.  They wont take the phone but if you got it from them it's likely locked to their network... occasionally you can find a way to unlock it and use it somewhere else or sell it.

Instead of breaking your contract you might want to look at offloading it.  At a place like the ones linked below (note: I've never used one just heard about them).  There are plenty out there if you search.
