Question:

Breaking Dawn????????????????

For those us who have read it...

Did you like it?

Here was my thought. I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in two days, and that was what, 700 pages? So I opened this book and was a little aggravated that it, too, was 700 pages (754 technically).

Long, long book.

Neither did it really seem to fit the other three. Seemed different, off. Not bad, just different. The other three were all about sacrifice and control and love, and not much happened, and then BAM in this book like 10 things happen, it was just a little too much to take in...

Renesmee was a good plot, Jacob imprinting, the wedding, etc...

I overall liked it.

Worth the wait. Worth the obsession.

But Twilight is better.

  1. i agree with you alittle twilight is breat of course the first book is always better but i loved the other books too they were awsome and im glad that i got to read them i think the whole series are awsome

    =P

  2. i agree. It seemed way more "fairy tale" then the others. It is still a good book just, as you say, a little off.

  3. i love it too! i dont know why a lot of fans didnt like it, i mean it's a good end

  4. I thought this book was lacking all the good things in the other books, and that it kind of destroyed the Jacob Bella relationship in a bad way.

I didn't want her to choose Jacob, I wasn't like a die hard Jacob fan or anything, but I did like the weird tension they had. And then she took it away. Everything happened too easily.

Overall, the book was a cute "happy ending" book that was nothing like the other ones. I think SM could have done a much better job.

The Deathly Hallows book was definitely a way better ending to a series!!!

  5. Meh. What exactly is your question? You seem satisfied with the book...therefore I shall not subject you to one of my rants and let you live a happy, peaceful life amongst the sparkly man vampires. That is all.

  6. ME? i absolutely LOVE breaking dawn....and yes, i do agree with you that twilight is better..and yeah,, i think that stephanie meyer should have like the fifth book too cause 10 things happening in one book is too much..so it would be better if it was in the fifth book so people would have something to look forward too. but she do have midnight sun coming out but it won't come out for a long time....

  7. ECLIPES IS BETTER

  8. I liked it too. Although, I could live without Jacobs point of view. I wish it was all Bella or maybe even some Edward. I loved the whole Renesmee thing; but I hated how some people (Jasper, Jacob, Rosalie) acted liked they cared about Renesmee more than Bella. It aggravated me.

  9. Twilight was the best. If Twilight was the only book in the "saga" then I wouldn't be complaining as much. But it's not, therefore my rants are completely justified.

  10. I really liked it

But I do think there should have been a fight or atleast the start of one

Then Alice enters to stop it with the other half immortal half mortal child.

The other thing that I didnt like is Jacobs still in the book

I really didnt like Jacob, In his book I started liking him but since imprinting I went off him again.

    Thats just my opinion though.

    xoxo

  11. So many people hated the book, and so many loved it, but very few share your views, and I do. I think it was fantastically written, and very interesting, but it didn't fit with the rest of Bella and Edwards story.

  12. I completely agree.

  13. yes loved it

but i agree twilight is better

  14. I think Breaking Dawn was like totally WAAAAY better than Harry Potter. But I still think Twilight was the best! Everything was simpler back then!

  15. I LOVED Breaking Dawn! It's my favorite of the series. It was really emotional and intense, and I loved how everyone got a big happily ever after ending. (Except for Irina, of course.)
