Breaking Football News: Diarra away transfer from Madrid to Manchester United
Real Madrid’s out of favour midfielder, Lassana Diarra could potentially finally be on his way out of Real Madrid. The player has been a long term bench warmer at the Bernabeu and it seems like the player will be on his way out sooner rather than later.
The player is scheduled to make his move out of the team as early as January. Diarra despite being one of the best midfielders in his position still hasn’t managed to break into the starting eleven at Madrid though his terrific performances over the last
couple of weeks have impressed many.
However the player has been thrown a lifeline in the form of Manchester United. United have been on the lookout for a world class holding midfielder ever since Owen Hargreaves managed to get himself injured, now that Hargreaves’ future is still unpredictable,
the Red Devils are more desperate than ever. The team has so far failed in all their attempts in getting a good replacement as the market is in turmoil due to fluctuating and rising prices and the rare availability of a good midfielder.
Nonetheless with Diarra is willing to make himself available in the January transfer window so there is a chance the team might finally get what they have been looking for.
Diarra is also the perfect player to join the team due to the fact that he has more than enough experience of playing in the Premier League.
The midfielder is also not going to cost the team the large sum that they had initially assumed, since the player is willing to leave the club he is going to cost the team as low as sixteen million pounds. Considering he is also only twenty five years old,
he has at least another eight years left in him.
Another reason for United wanting to finalize the deal as soon as possible is down to the fact that Wayne Rooney, stated that he would only stay at the club if the team makes some major signings. With Diarra easily being one of the best in the world, he
is bound to be the signing that might finally make Rooney realize that the team has much more to offer than he initially thought.
All in all, the signing of Lass Diarra could prove to be just what Manchester United need to get their title challenge back on track, considering the only player the team is currently lacking is one to hold the midfield and contain the oppositions attack.
Along with that, the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs are almost on their way out of the team, the addition of a long term player would be the best possible move for the team to make.
