Breaking Football News: UEFA Club Footballer Of The Year, Milito, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Wesley Snejider win respectively
The 31 year old Inter Milan striker Diego Alberto Milito has been elected as the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year.
The draws took place at the Champions League group stages in Monaco. The ceremony also announced many other winners that had performed exceptionally well last year.
The Argentinean striker was signed by Inter Milan last summer and since then has had 35 appearances scoring 22 goals in them.

The UEFA Club goal keeper of the year award went to Julio Cesar. The 30 year old Brazilian was acquired by Inter in 2005 and has had 170 appearances for them since. The nominations for the award were Julio Cesar, Hugo Lloris and Victor Valdes.
The defender’s award UEFA Club Defender of the year went to Brazilian Maicon who proved to be the winner without much contest. The 29 year old right back was one of the pivots of their defence and helped a lot in the midfield. He came to Inter in 2006 and caped 125 appearances for his 13 goals. The nominations for the award were Lucio, Maicon and Gerard Pique.
Wesley Sneijder won the UEFA Club Midfielder of the Year. The attacking midfielder came to the Nerazzurri in 2009 and has certainly helped the club in progressing forward. He has heavily assisted his forwards and has scored 4 goals himself in 26 appearances. The options for the presentation of award were Xavi, Arjen Robben, and Wesley Sneijder.
