Breaking News: Bolton ready to face Chelsea, declares Owen Coyle
Bolton’s manager Owen Coyle has come out and revealed that his team are set to take on the English champions Chelsea in their Premier League matchup on Wednesday evening. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their latest defeat in the English Premier
League as the Blues succumbed to a humiliating, 3-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday evening in London. Carlo Ancelotti’s men were thoroughly outplayed by their title rivals as Arsene Wenger’s squad schooled their fellow Londoners in the art
of possession football.
Several reports have emerged from the Chelsea camp since the loss; these reports have suggested that the club is in disarray. Chelsea’s winless streak in the English Premier League has now been extended to over six matches as they have not won a single league
tie since Ray Wilkins parted ways with the club. Back in the start of November, Ray Wilkins, Chelsea’s ex-assistant manager left the club with mutual consent after it was revealed that the club was not going to extend his present contract.
Chelsea’s slump in form has been attributed to their off-the-field issues but Owen Coyle is wary of the threat that the champions might pose as Bolton travel to Stamford Bridge to face the London club side. Bolton themselves have seen a resurgent 2010-2011
season thus far as they have been getting crucial results. This high rise in form has seen the Wanderers rise to sixth in the English Premier League table. If Chelsea do indeed lose to Bolton, the Lancashire club side will go above the English champions in
the English league rankings.
In his latest interview, Coyle stated, "I think going to Stamford Bridge at any time, with the quality http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 hold, is always a difficult ask. When we go there we expect a really tough game because of the quality they have, the strength in depth. There
is no doubt come the end of the season Chelsea are going to be fighting out the major honours, that is for sure.”
The ex-Burnley manager went onto remark about how Bolton will be cautious in their approach against the 2009-2010 English Premier League champions. Bolton’s manager said, "We will pay them huge respect but I want my players to concentrate on what we can
do and make a game of it. It is a game we will be ready for."
Chelsea will be hoping that they can get all three points against Bolton but that task will be quite difficult as some of the Blues’ players will be suffering from fatigue after their Monday night match against Arsenal. However, Ancelotti will be hoping
that Lampard and co. can return to form once again as Chelsea will look to make their way back into the English Premier League title race.
