Breaking News: Carlos Vela set to join Bolton on loan
Arsenal’s Mexican striker Carlos Vela looks set to join Bolton Wanderers on loan. The youngster may follow in the footsteps of teammate Jack Wilshere, who was also sent on loan to Bolton last season for a brief period of time.
Manager Arsene Wenger has said that many other clubs are also interested in securing the services of the talented Mexican.
Vela is currently finding it hard to earn his place in the Arsenal line up. It seems as if Marouane Chamakh, Theo Walcott, Robin Van Persie and Niklas Bendtner are all being given preference over the 21-year-old under present circumstances.
Wenger is known to be a father like figure to his young players and he has shown concern for Vela too. The Arsenal manager said that he would loan Vela out to a club that guarantees the youngster playing time. He reckons Vela will become a better player
if he gets more playing time in any of the top flight English clubs.
So far, Bolton seem to be the most appropriate destination for Vela who will be hoping to become a permanent fixture in their team. There is little to doubt about the Mexican's potential and he just needs to mature up a bit more in the crunch games. Bolton
will provide him the opportunity to gain some valuable experience.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that he becomes a much more accomplished player during his time away from The Emirates and then returns to the Gunners. Vela, on the other hand, will be desperate to give his all in order to prove his worth to Wenger and thus
win a place in the Arsenal line up.
If Jack Wilshere’s example is anything to go by then Vela looks set to benefit from his stint at Bolton. According to Wenger, the loan deal is set to go ahead in early January.
