This lack of form has frustrated Moyes at times as his team has looked capable of securing a top five finish just like their rivals, Manchester City and Tottenham. However due to their indifferent form, Everton find themselves
behind the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City in the English Premier League table. The Toffees occupy the 15th place spot as they have only taken 18 points from the 17 games they have played thus far.
Everton’s win against Manchester City by two goals to one at the Eastlands stadium on Monday night was surprisingly their fourth away win in a row against City at the Eastlands stadium, something that has cemented Everton has one
of City’s bogey teams in the English league. Everton’s manager spoke about his team’s form as he said, "We can compete at the top end but we haven't been able to compete at the bottom. We haven't been able to beat the teams below us, especially at Goodison.
But when it's come to the bigger games we seem to respond to the challenge and we are a match for a lot of teams."

Beckham recently revealed that he will be looking for a European club in the winter to get back into fitness as he makes an effort to return to international football action for the English national team. Previously, Beckham had
short loan spells at AC Milan where he earned his fitness and kept himself in shape during the MLS off season. Eriksson himself elaborated on the situation in a short comment as he said, "I would try again and that would be the third time. But no, he will
not come - I am pretty sure - so we can forget that story."
