Breaking News: Karanka believes Levante are the best team in La Liga
Jose Mourinho’s right-hand man, Aitor Karanka, has recently claimed that Levante are the best team in La Liga.
As this season of La Liga kicked off, the Spanish League was criticized for being a two-horse race. Many experts claimed that there are only two teams competing for the Spanish title – Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Despite such claims, the coaches of both the sides – Real Madrid and Barcelona – told the press that they felt exactly the opposite. Both the coaches were on the same page when they said that there are tough opponents in the league as well.
A few of the teams have proven this season that La Liga is definitely a league where the first two teams are going to find it hard to survive in their current position.

When the season started, Valencia took the top position and later Real Betis claimed the top spot. However, now, Levante are topping the points table as they are a point above the second placed Real Madrid.

While talking to the press, Karanka admitted that he was happy with the win over Villarreal and the Yellow Submarine are considered to be one of the strongest opponents in the league. He also admitted that Levante are playing at a very high level. The 38-year-old
said:
"The best so far are Levante and they deserve to be because they're playing at a very high level.”
Levante, Madrid and Barcelona all won their midweek fixture against their respective opponents. Out of all the teams, Madrid were to face the toughest opposition, Villarreal, and they were able to come out with flying colours as they won the game 3-0.
