Breaking News:  Mourinho eyeing Premier league strikers
According to reports from various sources, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is eyeing many premier league strikers to replace the injured Gonzalo Higuain. Mourinho is considered to be one of the best managers in the World and
is currently frustrated with the form of Karim Benzema. Higuain is not expected to be back in the squad in the coming weeks, may lead to a possible signing, come the January transfer window.
According to sources inside Bernabeau, out of favour Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor tops the lists for Mourinho and Mourinho may well sign the player for a half season loan, with the option to buy the player at the end
of the term. Carlos Tevez also makse a good case, as Tevez has already expressed his desire to shift to a new club, preferably to a Spanish one. It seems Tevez want to bring his family to Europe and it would be easier for them to go to a Spanish speaking nation.
However, the owners of Real will give Mourinho no more than 12 million pounds for a player, which is 1/3rd of the value Man City puts on their Captain.
Mourinho is also said to eye Mexican striker Javier Hernandez to come to Real Madrid from Manchester for a price of about 21.1 million pounds. Manchester United are highly unlikely to sell off the Mexican who only just got here
and is part of United’s long term plans and has made a huge impact at the club.
Whatever may be the case, Mourinho would be looking to sign a new striker in the winter transfer window, with Emmanual Adebayor expected to be one of the favourites to join the Los Blancos. Adebayor has not played in the last 5
premier league fixtures for Manchester City and Roberto Mancini has confirmed that the Togolese is not part of City’s long term future.
