According to the latest news coming out from the ICC headquarters in Dubai, Mohammad Asif, Amir and Salman Butt’s bans are to be up held as decided before. It has been a strange twist in this tale of cricket corruption
which has unfolded ever since News of the World revealed spot fixing scandals in Pakistani cricket. This news comes just 45 minutes before Pakistan’s ODI match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757. ICC declared Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif’s appeals null and
void and also gave a staunch verdict regarding the bans on the three Pakistani cricketers.
Pakistan’s cricket has gone through some turbulent times in the recent months after they lost their series ODI and T-20 series to England followed by a defeat to South Africa in the first two T-20s as well as the
single ODI that has been played between the two cricketing teams. There are still speculations that the Pakistani players in question are indeed innocent of all charges but the latest ICC decision only goes to cement the belief that they are guilty of the
charges that have been levelled at them thus far.
ICC’s stance was declared by Michael Beloff, as the head of the ICC's code of conduct commission said “I have decided to dismiss the application. All three players accordingly are still for the time being unable
to participate in cricketing activities ".
ICC has also decided that the ICC Corruption committee will make a decision on the future of these players sooner rather than later. Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir won’t be able to play any matches
