Breaking News: Sania Mirza expresses her love for the knight in shining armour Shoaib Malik
Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza states that she has found the prince of her dreams in Shoaib Malik and believes that they are an "ideal couple." According to Pakistan's mainstream Urdu newspaper, Jang, Mirza stated that she is extremely happy
with her marriage to former Pakistan cricket captain, Shoaib Malik.
"I have got the prince of my dreams.The simplicity of Shoaib had impressed me a lot. Today he is the same person as he was before marrying me. We have never had any differences between us, not even minor ones. I won my first tournament in Dubai after our marriage
and Shoaib was present. Both of us are professional players and understand the importance of having such support," said Sania.
Additionally, Mirza exclaimed that she is sure that she could not have found a better husband than Shoaib apart from stating that she believes that God has made them an ideal couple. Retaining her Indian nationality, Sania and Shoaib have settled down in Dubai.
Apparently Sania is extremely worried about Shoaib regarding his omission from the Pakistani cricket scene. She stated that she is aware of the fact that he is currently out of Pakistani cricket but prays for his return. The professional also went on to add
that she is not jealous of Shoaib's female fan following because he is her husband.
Upon being asked about her future plans, Sania said that she has been playing and currently has no plans of retiring from tennis. Mirza also wishes to bag a gold medal for India in the London Olympics.
Mirza clinched her first title in over a year defeating Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia in the championship final of the 13th Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge played in Dubai. Jovanovski initiated the match taking the first set 6-4. Nevertheless, Mirza took the second
set 6-3 and the deciding third set 6-0 to win $75,000 in prize money.
In spite of having struggled due to a wrist injury, Sania said that she was extremely happy with the way she had performed apart from exclaiming that she is happy to have avenged herself having lost to Jovanovski twice in the past. Furthermore, the Indian professional
hopes to fare well in the 2011 tennis season that is to begin shortly.
