The 28-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983 International made his first Premier league appearance in over a year against West Brom and managed a good performance in between the stick. The 1-2 victory over West Brom was United’s second away win of the season, having drawn six
others. Despite his performance, the 28-year-old is well aware that he would have to warm the bench coming Tuesday, as the 40-year-old Van Der Sar would be back for the Stoke City match.
Sir Alex Ferguson has also signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anders-Lindegaard-c5553 recently and looks to buy a replacement for Van Der Sar, as it has been confirmed that this would be the Dutchman’s last season. With so many speculations, Kuszczak would want to know what the future holds
for him as the player has already spend 5 years with the Red Devils.
"I need to see what the boss wants to do - whether he wants to play me or sell me. At this present moment, I don't know. Edwin is 40 already. Who knows how long he can play? It may be his last season. But a club like this needs to have young goalkeepers
coming in. I want to play but it is not in my hands," claimed the 28-year-old.
It was Kuszczak 56th league appearances for Manchester United when he played against West Brom. It is the same venue when his exciting performance in 1996 led to Ferguson signing the 28-year-old. The player has labelled the experience of the Red
Devils as being invaluable, as the player was in between the sticks for the Carling Cup final as well as on the bench for the Champions league final against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in 2008. However, the player is well aware of Ben Foster’s development at Birmingham City.
Foster joined Birmingham this season and has established himself as a top drawer goalkeeper. A similar move might save Kuszczak’s career but still has to wait on what Sir Alex Ferguson offers him.
"Every player has his ambitions. And I have mine. I have sat on the bench for five years but that means nothing to me. I am ready to play. I have some experience now and I think I can use it. What I need is a chance to play more than one game in two or three
months. You can't prove anything like that," claimed the Manchester United shot stopper.
