Breaking Social Norms?

Question

I'm doing a paper for sociology which requires me to break a social norm. Anybody have funny ideas on breaking an American social norm without breaking the law or being too extreme?

Walk on the 'wrong' side of the sidewalk and go in the left doors instead of the right.  It is really fun to see how frustrated the other people get.

This is a funny one...I thought....while your going into a store with automatic sliding doors, while approaching hurry so you get to the door right before  another person going in...put your hand as to block them somewhat, be polite....say here, wait, let me get the door for you...or go out get a plastic tabogin at your local sporting good store and get some friends and go suburban taboggining,That's when you go sledding down dirt hills or Grassy hills in your area... don't forget to film it...My son did this with his friends....alot...

If you need some ideas watch episodes of Seinfeld. Most of those episodes were about people breaking social norms and their reaction.

Go into a McDonalds.  Order your meal, then set your table with china and silver.  Take the meal out of the wrappers and boxes, and put them on the table.  You may want to set up an (unlit) candle for effect.  Wipe your mouth with a linen napkin and sip your soda from a wine glass.  Believe me, this will get attention!

dress like a complete hobo, like i mean huge pants holes and what not and then carry something expensive like a laptop haha that would be so funny!

or dress in a really expensive suit with a brief case etc and act like hobo lol
