  1. Imprinting is like, love at first sight. When she comes of age, they will be together. Not because she shares in his imprinting, but as he says in a earlier book, it is too hard to dismiss that kind of devotion that he has for her.

However, at this exact moment in time, he simply cares about her well-being. It shows this when talking about Quil and Claire. It's not a sexual, I want to BE with this person, when they are this age. It is simply a...I want everything that is best for her, and when she gets of age, I'll start thinking of her like that.

Edward, however, listens to his thoughts, and knows he doesn't feel this way about her just yet. So that puts it at ease.

  2. yes he loves nessie

and sees the old bella in her instead

or as in the book, he was in love with nessie all along :s

  3. I'm scared to ask what you were thinking.

Imprinted means that someone views that other someone as belonging to them or belonging to their family. For example, baby birds imprint on someone and think that is their mother if that someone acts like their mother (right now our chicks think the turkey is their mother b/c the turkey acts like their mother). So Jacob is viewed by Bella's baby as belonging and vice versa. They are attached to each other on a deep, deep level that cannot be broken.

  4. Like the love at first sight thing he talked about in New Moon. He has a devotion toward Nessie that he cannot explain, he'd give anything for her and do anything for her. She is what binds him to Earth, and whatever she asks of him, he will do whatever he can to do it and to keep her happy.

    BTW< what WERE u thinkinggggg?
