ok so i am at the part where charlie comes to visit bella for the first time after she has changed, does he know that she is a vampire? im soo confused! help!

Stephenie leaves that hanging, but I think they ended up telling him, because if they didn't, Charlie would have reacted differently. I was wondering the same thing too for a while, but I came up with that, and decided to let my reasoning stick.. hehe...

Also, I don't think Charlie would have left Bella alone with the Cullens regardless of the marriage, because he wants to protect her of un-known situations...

But I guess he's OK with everything now.

No, he only knows about werewolves when he comes to visit her because Jacob changed right in front of him.

Charlie knows something is up with the Cullens but doesn't want to know any details unless it is necessary.

No, but he realizes that the Cullens aren't normal (meaning he knows that they are something supernatural) and that Bella is one of them now. He doesn't ask because he said he'd rather not know. He does this because he wants to preserve his sanity and not think of Bella as some supernatural creature. They couldn't tell him that they are vampires, either, because of the rules set by the Volturi.

He knows there is something going on, but not what. He also knows that it is something "supernatural". He would probably figure it out if he wanted to, but he wants to remain in the dark to preserve his sanity and his feelings toward Bella as his sweet little girl.
