  1. This is probably the most difficult article of hockey equipment to break in and it sucks..... besides getting them heated and molded to your foot at a local hockey equipment retailer do this......when you're at home wear a pair of dampened sanitary socks and tie them up as tight as you can possibly tie them....with skate guards on of course wear them for about an hour a day a few times a week (when you're lounging around the house) after a week or two they will be fitted in enough to where you wont get blisters....this will work!!

  2. Well if there nice the first thing I would do is take them to a pro shop and get them heat fitted, than just wear high socks while trying to break them in, maybe double up socks.

  3. you could get them molded at you local arena.

  4. Weird, I've been having the same issue lately. OK, you can get them heat molded at Peck's or just wear them out. (Which could be painful) For now, take your sister's idea of lining your skates with her "supplies" so your feet don't rub against the backs of your skates. Try also doing crossovers and bending your knees a lot to soften them up. If they're still stiff, take a heating pad, stick it in there and then put your foot in and let it set there for five minutes, then walk in it for five minutes. Then do the other skate. I'm not so sure you can get yours baked, if they've got platstic, I wouldn't, they could melt and destroy your skates. Oh, and put some bandages on your blisters if you haven't already. Hope I helped! See you soon!
