David Beckham is close to making a return to England to play for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.

It has been revealed that the former Manchester United player wants to return to the Premier League and play for Tottenham on loan.
Spurs manager, Harry Redknapp, who was talking after the 1-0 home win over city-rivals Fulham FC on Saturday, spoke about the prospective move.
He said, “David fancies it. He would like to come and play here. He's a fantastic lad and role model in the way he conducts himself and plays. We'd have to move quickly.
I've left it to the people at the club and they're talking to whoever they have to talk to at his club.”
He added, “He'd be a great influence on the younger players. I remember when I was at Portsmouth and bought Teddy Sheringham for a season and used to tell the young lads
to watch Teddy practice and train.”
Harry has previously stated that he would only try to sign players in the January transfer window, if he is able to capture real quality.
Some critics believe that David is past his prime and does not have the energy and fitness level to compete in the European game. However,
the 35-year old superstar proved the sceptics wrong when he played on loan at AC Milan in 2009 and 2010.
Playing in the top European league and training with high quality players will also help Beckham to revive his international career.
