  1. I really like this trade, especially for a 12 team league.

    The players you gave up:

Crumpler - will have a good season, but not as good as Gonzalez

LJ - will probably miss at least 2 or 3 games (thats just my guess as a jaded Chiefs fan) and he'll constantly be running into 8 and 9 man fronts on one of the worst offenses in the NFL.

Welker - you'll miss a lot of points from catches and yards, but he's not the guy that Brady looks for in the endzone.

    The players you got:

Gonzalez - still the best reciever in KC (and one of the best TE in football) and (besides Bowe) the only player that Croyle can rely on as a reciever.  He'll have 90 catches, and near 1,000 yards.  He puts up those numbers year in and year out regardless of the QB.  Probably get around the same # of TDs as Crumpler because the Chiefs offense is so stagnant.  But still, many more FF points than Crumpler.

Gore - will benefit greatly from Mike Martz's system and will get more touches, yards and TDs than LJ

Johnson - gets more passes to him in the redzone than any reciever except Moss, and TO.  He won't have as many catches as Welker, but you should be able to make that up with the superior yardage and TDs that Johnson scores.

  2. No doubt it's a good trade for you. Let's look at what you gave up.

Crumpler  is a solid TE. Top 10 for sure but unlikely to score more than 5 times in any season.

LJ has a an injury history that scares me to death. Still, he is likely to have a decent year. I have him rated at 1000 yards and 9 TDs. He isn't what he was few years ago.

Welker is sure to get a ton of passes underneath as defenses roll coverage to Moss, but there is a full season of film on him now I doubt he repeats last years performance. 750 yards and 7 TDs

    Now what you got!! ---

Gonzales is a top fnatasy TE virtually every year. Young QBs like Croyle tend to look for a security blanket and Tony is the only guy on their roster that fits that mold. 600 yards and 7 scores MINIMUM!

Gore is going to have a tough time of things if the 9ers can't show some kind of passing game, but still, he is going to touch the ball 300 times and that means 1000 yards. He is a big enough home run threat to get you 9 TDs. The RBs are a wash in my book but the likelihood of injury goes way up with LJ.

Andre Johnson is a premiere WR in the NFL. I figure him for 1200 yards and 12 TDs, and a whole lot of great highlights too!!

You won't be disappointed with that trade at all.

  3. do it thats a good deal for you

  4. gonzalez will struggle in KC no real QB to throw and 8-9 men in the box  not only hurts rbs  it makes it harder for te's to get open.

both RB's are on weak offenses  and both wr's should have big years

if andre johson is healthy he is the best player  in this trade easily.  he only played 9 games last year but stll had almost 800+ yds  8 tds

  5. Yeah, I think that's a good trade for you.

I think Johnson is better than Gore (he's gonna blow this year)

    Gonzalez is better than Crumpler

    Johnson is better than Welker

You're definitely making out except for the Larry Johnson part, but Larry Johnson isn't gonna be very special this year.

  6. ur got ripped off,

Gonzalez has no one that can throw him the ball

Andre johnson has no on that can tho to him

    and Gore has horrible blockers

And u had LJ who has good blocking, and Wes has Tom Brady and Crumler has VY

    U GOT RIPPED OFF!

  7. That's pretty good.

  8. nah!

  9. It is fair but i think the top 3 on the list got a slighter edge
