  1. If your having issues with management and it goes against your lease..then you have right to leave..But be certain they are going against what you signed..

  2. They can sue you for the rent until either a replacement tenant is found or the lease expires.

They can sue you for any costs that they may incur due to your breach, such as advertising costs, etc.

They can get a judgment against you and garnish bank accounts & wages or put liens on your personal property.

Judgments can be renewed for up to 20 years, so they have a long time to collect plus interest accrues on the judgment until it is paid.

The judgment will go on your credit report and tank your credit.

Your rental history will be ruined.

You will have a hard time finding another rental in the future.

  3. Actually what they can do is charge you a cost of reletting fee, the balance of your lease, anything goes on the walk thru upon move out and they will turn it over to a collection agency and may or may not report it to the credit bureau.

  4. Since you are responsible for the rent through the end of the lease, they can sue you, get a judgment and then garnish your wages and seize your bank accounts and other investments.
