Breakthrough bleeding?

i've been on the pill (monofeme) for over a year, but since monday i've been having breakthrough bleeding. at first it was brown stuff, now its actual blood. it stops at night but then begins the next morning. its sooo annoying! why is it doing this? there's still like, 2 weeks before im supposed to get my period.

often times women can become immune to their form of birth control...maybe it finally stopped having an effect on you...otherwise i wouldn't worry unless it persists

I think you should see your doctor, could be the pill is not working properly.
