I have a tiny lump under my nipple on my left breast, I first noticed this lump over 6 months ago! 2 Months ago i had a blood test and no cancerous cells were found in my body. The lump is even smaller than a grain of rice and when squeezed white stuff comes out. I went to see a nurse today as it is bugging me that this lump is still there and she said it looks like a cyst but told me to see my doctor about it just to make sure. Well if it was breast cancer wouldn't it have grow bigger by now? 6 Months is a long time after all... What do you guys think? Should i get my doctor to look again?

Not sure if it has anything to do with it but my left breast is also a lot smaller than my right breast.

  1. You are doing the right thing by getting it checked out.  Perhaps it's a blocked cyst or milk gland/duct?  Don't worry and keep pushing for the tests.  Good luck.

  2. Sounds like a sebeacous cyst. Does the white stuff smell pus-like or unpleasant at all? What you can do it get it removed in minor surgery (local General Practises can do this usually in house) or you could choose to live with it if your GPgives you some advice on how large the scar would be.

Don't panic but its good you check your b*****s so well!

Best of luck, chick! I had a cyst just like the one you described on my torso and the doctor removed it the same afternoon. x*x

  3. go and see your doctor

  4. Good for you for being concerned and keeping up on your health.  However, you have a lot to learn about this kind of stuff.  The small lump, smaller than a grain of rice that when squeezed sounds more like a blocked milk duct or a cyst.  I would still follow up about it and make sure that it is nothing serious.

Now, a blood test cannot tell you that you are cancer free.  If cancerous cells were found in your blood you would be getting ready to die because the cancer had mestatasized (spread).  There are blood tests that look for other things that tumors put off, but they have to be looking for that specific compound.  You can have many types of cancers and have very normal blood tests for years.  Literally, years.  So, you were misinformed or miseducated about the blood test and you really need to learn more about this kind of stuff.

    good luck!
