Question:

Breast feeding moms, what can I do to even out the size of my b*****s?

My left breast is much bigger than my right. I am feeding my daughter on each breast evenly, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Can I pump from my right breast to get it to produce more and try to even out the size? Thanks :)

  1. You can nurse (or pump) a little more to that side - but the fact is you were probably a little lopsided to start out with (we ALL are). You can encourage the baby to favor that side, and if all else fails - extra breast pad! They will probably end up relatively even in the long run.

  2. I wouldn't worry about it.  I bet it's only noticeable to you and your baby.  You could try pumping.  It might work, but I think you're just looking very critically at your own body.

That said, if pumping and evening out your b*****s makes you feel better about yourself, go for it.  Personally, I would rather take a bath and paint my toenails, but do what works for you.

The uneven size may have nothing to do with how much milk you're making.  I always pumped more from the small side and felt like I had more milk there.

  3. Lopsided! What can I do?

...When baby prefers one side, or when supply or breast size is greater on one side

  4. You were probably like that to begin with. It's usually because your heart leans to left so it makes that side bigger.

  5. i would say add padding in ur bra to even them out
