Question:

Breast reduction... Good idea? Both men and women's opinion accepted?

I'm 18 and have 36DD b*****s, and I hate them! I weigh about 140 and they are extremely disproportionate to my body, I've tried exercising to try and reduce them some, and that only helped a little. I'm starting to get the castling effect on my shoulders, where the shoulder strap digs into my shoulder.

Should I look into breast reduction surgery? Is it worth it?

Random question, what do guys think of this kind of surgery?

Thanks!

  1. if you are having problems with your back then i would def. get a reduction done. It will save u from back surgery in the future. and some guys find it more appealing to them that you have smaller percker b*****s.

  2. If you have back pain then reduction surgery would greatly benefit you.

I went through it Feb 2006 and don't regret it one bit.

  3. Don't worry what guys or girls think, worry about what you think.

Firstly, surgery can completely deform your b*****s, be very careful when you do that.  You didn't post your height, but depending on that, you could be a bit overweight, and losing more weight could help.

with the castling thing, you just need to get refitted.  The bra isn't suppose to put most of the support on the shoulders, it's suppose to be spread throughout the back.

  4. My best friend was 15 with 36DD b*****s n she had breast reduction. She has a lot more confidence and doesn't worry about guys liking he for her b***s. She had a lot of back pain and now she doesn't have any at all. She really likes them. The only thing is the scarring is kind of bad but she doesn't regret the surgery at all. She loves it so I would recommend it but I have never had it done.

  5. I had a reduction about 4 years ago and its the best thing I've done. I had the gouges in my shoulders from the bra straps and my neck and back constantly hurt. Also, I had a hard time finding tops to fit right.

I was a 38DDD (although my plastic surgeon said my cup size was bigger). I noticed some major changes after surgery. I won't go into details on here but feel free to e-mail me with questions.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

  6. I have 34DDs and I know how you feel, man.  I get back pain from mine.  I've considered getting a reduction but for me, I'm not sure they're enough of a problem...yet.

My boss at my last job had TRULY HUGE b*****s.  I mean, just freakishly huge.  12 years ago she had a baby and her b*****s just got absurdly big from the hormonal changes, and never went back down to their original size.  She got them reduced to a DD and she said it was the best thing she's ever done.  So if you're truly, truly uncomfortable it can really be a good thing.

Don't worry about what guys think.  They're not their b*****s.  They're yours.

  7. It was absolutely the best decision in my life. I was a 34F (!!)...only 5' and 135lbs. I was so disproportioned! I had it done and am now a 34D (the docs can only go so small otherwise the complications increase). My sister and two good friends had it done also and they all agree.

Find a great plastic surgeon and go for it if that's what you want to do. Also, b/c of the effects on your body your insurance should cover it.

Oh, and by the way, every single one of my male friends gave me great compliments after! It looked like I lost about 20lbs instantly (which I prob did)...

  8. As a Human being you should accept the nature. No one should do anything against the nature. Please have confident in yourself. You will find a way. You should not worry who will marry me or how my future is going to be. God has a way for everyone. So, my humble advice is dont try doing any surgery in your future. Do good exercise, walk every day........ Be cool ........ Be happy that you have born in this world to help others rather worring.

  9. My neighbor's daughter had breast reduction surgery and says it changed her life, in a very good way.  She was having difficulty even continuing to work before the surgery.  Talk to a doctor about it, and do what is right for you.  No one else matters in this decision.  Those who would mind don't matter, and those who matter would never mind.
