Breast reduction questions?

Hey there, so I'm 15, I'm seriously considering getting a breast reduction, I've talked it over with my mom, and she says if I want one, I can get one. The thing is, is that I'm a size 38C, and I'm very self concious of my b*****s, and they sometimes hurt my back which I do not want. So I was wondering, do you think it is a good idea for me to get one? We might go into the doctor, I just want to be down to a B or something. I don't know.

  1. Your Dr would be better equipped to answer that question, it would depend on the rest of your body size in comparison to your breast size, the amount of pain that you have, and future development. The Dr would also inform you of the risks, pros and cons of the surgery, how the procedure is performed and approximate recovery time. That way you and your mom would be better informed to make a decision.

  2. i think you should be grateful that you have b***s, and 38C is pretty average! love yourself for who you are, do back stretches and back workouts!

  3. smaller? daaam...allow it  lol  but then again its hurting ur back and ur in pain  (poor u)

  4. If you have back pain, you could look into a reduction.  Most of the time the insurance company has a minimum amount taken out, which may end up bringing you down to a large A or small B with the size you are now.

If you are slightly overweight you should try working out first to see if they do decrease in size.  This does not work all of the time, however if it works, then you don't need the surgery.

BTW, some will tell you that "you are not that big", which is BS.  If you feel you are too big, then you are, especially if you have back pain.

Some will also tell you that "no PS will operate on someone your age", again not true.  I know 14 year olds who get this procedure.

I would go out and make sure you are properly sized, as 80% of us are in the wrong size bra.  If you go to Nordstroms, JCPenney or Sears they can size you (DO NOT go to Victoria Secret as they are not very good with sizing, been there done that).

  5. First of all: a good doctor would tell you, that you are too young. You should wait until your b*****s stop growing, because a reduction at this stage could mean you are back to 38C next year.

Also, this isn't like a breast enlargement. Usually, a breast reduction operation is done by something called a anchor method. This means that they cut in a straight line from the nipple down and go left and right at the bottom of the breast. You will be seeing scars for the rest of your life. Keep this in mind, because there is no turning back.

  6. I think that you should wait until your body stops growing. Otherwise, you may find yourself needing another reduction. When you get older ands more secure with your body you may not even want one anymore. Try standing up straight to avoid back pains. I had a breast reduction when I was 34. I definitely needed it but was glad that I waited until I was older and finished having children.

  7. when i grow up i want c cups.
