Breastfeeding, is it ok to have a hair dye or hair straightening ?

i gave birth(Csection) 27 days ago and i want to visit the salon. is it ok to have a hair dye or straightening ?? I am breastfeeding my son.thankyou.

It's fine, but what all the breastfeeding moms have recommended is that you put your hair up to keep it away from baby until after you've washed it once or twice.  The chemicals continue to give off an odor which is annoying to the baby (heck, it's annoying to me).
