Breastfeeding and leaking?

I am breastfeeding. I wasn't able to breastfeed my first two kids but am able to with my third and last baby.

My question is, will I have to wear a bra and nursing pad the whole time I breastfeed? I didn't one night and I woke up wet from my milking leaking. I was just wondering if I will stop leaking or if I will have to wear nursing pads the whole time?

I think it largely depends ont he person.

In my own experience, however, I only wore the nursing pads for the first few months.  When I found that I wasn't leaking during the day, I stopped using them.  I do occasionally still leak at night, usually if my son sleeps a bit longer than usual or if I am sleeping on my stomach.
