  1. When I stopped I didn't have any problems except sore breast and some engorgement.  It couldn't hurt to take a test to see if you are pregnant.  Even if you arn't getting your period yet you could still possibly get pregnant.  I would check it out to make sure.  Good Luck!

  2. While I don't have any personal experience with this (I am still breastfeeding my son at 23 months), I know of a friend who weaned her 11 month old son recently. She's had sore b*****s since they stopped, likely due to her milk supply diminishing. It will take awhile for your milk to dry up completely - I know women who could express some milk up to a year after their little ones had weaned!

If you are worried about pregnancy, I would just wait and then take a test to set your mind at ease. The sore b*****s are likely completely normal during this weaning phase though, and the diarrhea could really be caused by anything.

Just know that it is possible that you could become pregnant now (you don't need to get your period back - you just need to ovulate, which of course happens before your period arives). If you are trying to prevent another pregnancy, now is the time to be using birth control. And if you're not trying to prevent another pregnancy - then good luck to you!
