Breastfeeding...?

Is it ok to use an acne treatment while breastfeeding? I just bought the Neutrogena 3-step Acne treatment, and I'm breastfeeding...Someone told me I can't use it. But I have the worst breakout's now.(I'm guessing from my hormone levels being different while pregnant, and after) Does anyone know?

You should be fine.  I used Proactive while breastfeeding and had no problems.  I talked to my doctor first, just to make sure it was okay.  If you have any doubts, of course ask your doctor.

I know you can't use it when your pregnant but I'm not sure about now call you dr and see what the nurse says

Why don't you check with your local Chemist, he/she would be able to tell you whether it is safe or not.

Why risk it, find out for sure.

Read the label and call the information number. I would think that if it is not ok to use during pregnancy, then I should be careful to not use it while breastfeeding. You can also try asking a pharmacist.

Should be fine. I use clearasil face wipes or dove face cleansing wipes while breastfeeding.
