  1. just get her back on the breast as soon as possible, and nurse as often as she wants. You can take fenugreek, an herb that can help increase milk supply. It may take a week or so, but your supply can be brought back up. Good luck!

  2. you didnt have to stop breastfeeding for painkillers.  i wish you had been given correct information.  women have pain killers after c sections and breast feed all the time.

but, what's done is done.  how to re-establish your mild supply if you want to continue breastfeeding.  only you can decide if its time to ween your baby.  if you decide to continue, you should nurse as much as possible.  every two hours is good.  the baby should do it, as she is more efficient at stimulating the breast than a pump.  i have heard of women taking fenugreek supplement to increase milk supply.  drinking dark beer like guiness will have the same effect.

if you decide to stop nursing, only time will tell what will happen with your b*****s.  they will never look like they did before you were pregnant.  wear a supportive/ tight-ish bra and avoid stimulating your nipples.  don't let the shower water hit your b*****s either.  these things will cause the b*****s to continue to make milk.

the only way your b*****s will look like they did before is to have plastic surgery, a pretty drastic step.  if you wanted to do that, wait until you are done having children, or it will keep happening.

i hope this was helpful.  congrats on your baby and nursing to 5 months.
