Breeches Size?

Question

I've recently decided to retry english riding again, but all my old breeches are way too small. I found some cheaper breeches online, but i don't know what size to get, and it's not in number sizes, rather, it just says small, medium, etc. I usually wear around a size six in jeans, and small or medium in sweat pants or shorts (in juniors).

The breeches that I'm looking at are Ovation Cotton Original Bling Ladies Schooling Breeches. The website doesn't include a size chart.

I hate buying thing online because it's always so risky, but all of our local tack shops are small and very expensive.

if i were you i'd get the medium

smalls usually range from sizes 0-5

mediums 5-8 and larges 8 and up

ovation also runs pretty small

i'm a size 26 and i ordered a 26 in ovations and they were a size too small so i ordered a 28 instead

i'm guessing a 32 or 32.. i'm a size 2 or 4 in jeans and a 30 in tailored sportsmans.

I would guess you'd need a medium.  Since they're cotton, if they end up too big, just put them in the dryer.  If they're on the verge of being too small, make sure you DON'T put them in the dryer.

i wouldn't suggest buying breeches online but since it seems like you dont have much of a choice i would suggest buying a small or medium. Since breeches usually strech i would get a small.  Im about the same size as you. I hope you get the right size! ^_^

What I do is try them on at a local tack store. You can find the exact breech you want to try it on the figure out what size you are. Than you can go online and order them.
