Can I take the female out after he squeezes her two times?

Because I dont want that many and I dont have that many jars.

Plus no petstore will buy them. I just want to give them to friends and family. Will they like go crazy if I take her out to early???

  1. No he will not go crazy, but if this is your first spawning, and they only squeeze 2 times, that will only be about 50-75 eggs. And out of those about 25-50 will survive, but if it is your first spawn, only 10-20 will usually survive out of that number.

  2. you should observe your bettas when they are spawning, when you notice that the male chases the female away from the nest and the male quickly retreats under the bubble nest that is when you should remove the female, it means that he has no more interest in spawning with her, place the female in a medicated water to help the wounds heal faster.

  3. You take her out and the male protects them and then when the hatch take the dad out.
