breeding is the selection of good genes to breed to have a good and functional offspring.it is used to select what animals will adopt a good genes to get a better hybrid.

genetic engineering is just a plain study of genes:it's nature and other functions!!!!

Ok, breeding is simply the transference of genes through conception, whether it's natural breeding, artificial insemination or embryo transplant.  Selective breeding is breeding animals with selected desired traits in an effort to produce offspring that exhibits the desired traits.

Genetic engineering selectively inserts genetic material (often from widely differing species) into the DNA strand through methods other than conception.

I see very little difference between the two unless you're using genetic engineering to create someone who can shoot laser beams out of their eyes and lightning bolts out of their a$$.

I'm not too sure what you are asking here, but I don't believe that from the agricultural perspective that there would be a lot of difference. Agriculture has been getting improved varieties and better planting material from plant breeding for years. Genetic engineering is just another method of getting new material to the farmer.

breeding is a way of producing animals naturally such as live breeding . genetic engineering is a way of producing an animal by selecting the genes of a mother and father to produce an offspring yet there are different types of genetic engineering such as embryo transfer, cloning. and artificial insemination, all ways are helpful in agriculture it just depends on cost and availability, you can artificialy inseminate if you have the s***n a lot cheaper than transfering embryos to a surogate type mother and that is cheaper than producing a clone

Breeding is more of a natural choice and allows things like natural selection to occur

Genetic Engineering can be deteremined to get certain traits in animals but could prevent other traits from being dominate.
