is it true that if you breed fancy guppies with wild guppies youll get amazing colors?? ive heard if you do you get an amazing outcome and the colors come out amazing

when you breed fancy guppies with wild guppies you get a guppy that isnt as fancy but is not as dull as the wild type. it will at about a ratio of 1:2:1 meaning it will be 1 fancy guppy : 2 mixed guppies (fancy/wild) : 1 wild type
to answer the 'where to get the wild type guppies from?' question, go to a pet store that sells 'feeder guppies' those are the wild type
