Brendan Rodgers relaxed about Luis Suarez future – Football News
Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, is not worried by the talk in media regarding Luis Suarez’s possible departure from the club. The manager claimed that he is relaxed as Suarez is a Liverpool player and the club is not willing to
sell their prized asset.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 has made an official bid for Luis Suarez earlier this month but the Reds refused to take the offer. Liverpool have made it clear that they do not want to sell the striker to any club despite the strong rumours in the transfer
window.
Rodgers claimed that Suarez is a very important part of the club and Liverpool do not intend to sell the striker for any price. He insisted that the Uruguayan international has returned to training and is currently with the first
team in Melbourne.
The manager also hinted that the striker will also play some part in the pre-season friendly against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Melbourne-Victory-c39899 on Wednesday this week.
“As we've always been as a club, I'm quite relaxed about it. He's an integral part of our squad. We'll chat at some stage, like I do with all the players. But he's back, he's in great spirits. He's obviously an integral part of
the group - you could see his closeness with his teammates last night when they were all seeing him for the first time in a number of weeks,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Swansea City boss admitted that the striker is training with the first team and stated that the situation will be clearer in the next few weeks. He added that him and Suarez have been in constant contact throughout the
summer when the attacker was with the national side for the FIFA Confederations Cup.
“He'll join training today with all the other players and over the course of the next few weeks we'll communicate. Him and I have been in regular communication throughout the summer,” he concluded.
Luis Suarez is reportedly also being followed by Real Madrid. The Spanish giants want the striker at the Santiago Bernabeu before the season starts and are also willing to offer players in the deal to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
