Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, has slammed Arsenal’s bid for Luis Suarez as less than the value of the player. He admitted that the striker is worth more than the bid and reiterated that the Uruguayan international is staying at the club.

The tactician revealed that the former Ajax Amsterdam player still has a good three years left in his contract and admitted that he will be staying at the club.
“There has been lots of speculation about Luis moving to another club but he is very much a Liverpool player. We had an offer that was nowhere near what we value him at. But unless something drastic happens, he will be staying here. He has got three years

Rodgers hailed the talent Suarez has and insisted that every player should respect the club. He stressed that Luis is a very important player for Liverpool and his presence at the club is crucial if the side wants to claim a top four finish.
