The newly-appointed Zimbabwean skipper, Brendan http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915, is confident about his team’s good performance at the highest level despite admitting the fact that the side has been undergoing a rebuilding process.
The Zimbabwean team has not played any Test cricket since 2005, after getting their Test status suspended by International Cricket Council (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625), due to political turmoil in the country.
The real crisis started in 2006 when all senior players rebelled and denied representing Zimbabwe, leaving their country’s cricket in a disastrous situation.
In the recent ICC World Cup 2011, the Rhodesians failed to make an impression and were not able to demonstrate any notable performances against the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SO-Tikolo-c2546.
Yet, Taylor aimed to turn the table around and show a fine performance in every format of the game in the future.
"We are all confident we can make it when we return to Tests. I think we've come a long way," Taylor said.

Although, the Rhodesians have improved their game in the last couple of years, they would have to show more good performances in order to secure their place in the Test cricket.
