Zimbabwe had an edge in the game almost throughout the match and never looked like losing at any stage.
Taylor made a bold decision by declaring the second innings at 291 runs after losing five wickets, which was a supporting declaration as Bangladesh was provided a chance to chase the target of 375 runs in 123 overs.
The decision to declare timely paid off with an empathetic victory, which was achieved with dedication. Taylor admired their batting coach Grant Flower, and the whole team, saying,
"We, as a team, put in the hard work and were confident coming into the game that we could win. There was an excellent build-up to the match for us and credit must go to batting coach Grant Flower and the rest of the coaching staff."
